Keramidi is a beautiful, picturesque village situated 44km north-east of Volos at 300m above sea level, with views of the infinite blue Aegean.

According to the 2001 census Keramidi has 780 inhabitants. The main occupations are organic livestock rearing, fishing and olive-growing.
Keramidi is a living community with a rich cultural heritage that the local people have respected and worked hard to preserve. On the feast of Aghios Georgios there is a traditional celebration in the village with food, drink and local dances; those attending are offered the famous 'blougouri', made of various meats cooked with coarse wheat. There is also a celebration to mark the feast of the Dormition of the Virgin from 23-25 August.
